Mint Presence ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Riaton Investors LLC, provides professional website development services for local service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at mintpresence.com, use our services, or interact with us via SMS text messaging.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and business address.
  • Business Information: Business name, industry, services offered, and service areas.
  • Website Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, and interactions with our website.
  • SMS Opt-In Data: Phone number, consent status, opt-in timestamp, and messaging preferences. When you submit the SMS sign-up form we retain a record of your consent — the phone number provided, the consent language shown, and the time of submission — for compliance purposes.
  • Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

Preview Sites and Claim Pages

The preview websites we build for businesses, and their claim pages on mintpresence.com, may measure visits themselves (first-party measurement). We use this to learn which previews are opened and where people stop on the way to claiming a site, so we can improve our service. For each visit we may record:

  • Which preview or claim page was opened, and when.
  • Whether the page was scrolled, tapped, or stayed open for a couple of seconds, and whether the claim button was pressed.
  • A short code in the link that tells us which of our messages it came from.
  • A random visit ID created for that visit, so the steps of one visit can be connected.
  • The type of device (phone, tablet, or desktop) and a general browser category, such as an in-app browser or an automated link checker. We do not keep the full browser identification string.
  • How long the page took to show its content, and which steps of the domain search and checkout were reached.

These measurements do not include IP addresses (an address is used briefly to limit repeated requests and is not saved with them), contact details, or message text. They use no cookies, no local storage, and no device fingerprinting. The claim page keeps the visit ID, and the domain you picked, in your browser tab's session storage, which is cleared when the tab is closed. We do not share these measurements with any analytics or advertising company. When you start checkout, we may pass Stripe, our payment processor, the business's reference, the chosen domain, the visit ID, and the link code, so a payment can be matched to its visit. These measurements are linked to the business's reference and the visit ID, not to a name or contact details, and we keep them to measure our service over time.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Build and deliver professional websites for your business.
  • Communicate with you about website projects via email and SMS.
  • Send project updates, preview links, and status notifications.
  • Send promotional offers and marketing communications (with your consent).
  • Process payments and manage your account.
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • Improve our services and website experience.

4. SMS / Text Messaging

When you opt in to receive SMS messages from Mint Presence, you agree to receive text messages related to your website project, including project updates, preview links, promotional offers, and marketing communications.

  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your project status and engagement.
  • Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

  • Consent: Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. You may purchase our services without opting in to SMS communications.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our business, such as:

  • Payment processors (Stripe) for transaction processing.
  • Hosting providers (Vercel) for website hosting and delivery.
  • Database hosting (Supabase) for storing the records described in this policy.
  • SMS service providers (Telnyx) for text message delivery.
  • Email service providers for transactional and marketing communications.

These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes of providing services to us and are required to maintain the confidentiality of your data.
